IBM Employees Donate to The Salvation Army

Hosting an employee driven fundraising campaign throughout the month of October has allowed The IBM Calgary ECF team to donate $12,638.79 to their charity of choice, The Salvation Army. These funds are in addition to what employees personally contributed to their charity of choice during the National 3 week ECF Awareness Campaign of “Give Where You Live.” Employees of IBM Calgary personally donated their money and time for a number of different fundraising initiatives including a Bake sale, Chilli Cook-off, Plant sale, Wine draw, Lap top raffle, On-line Auction, Diversity Staff Lunch and both a Bagel and Pancake breakfast.

Proceeds collected from the events were hand delivered on behalf of IBM Calgary Employees’ Charitable Fund by Yasmin Dahl, Kevin Martin and Brenda Miller. These dedicated individuals were just a few who were instrumental in ensuring this fundraising campaign was a success. “We know the donation is going to a great organization” states Yasmin Dahl.
