On Tuesday, September 7, 2010, Sixty-Five employees and friends of World Financial Group from Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia participated in “Summits of Change” to support the work of The Salvation Army. At 10:00 a.m. the enthusiastic individuals set out to climb Mount Baldy in the Kananaskis. The climb was sectioned into three levels with 21 of the more experienced climbers reaching the summit. The EDS vehicle from Calgary was on site for the day serving food and drinks. The funds raised in the event will go to support the work of helping vulnerable women transition back into society in the three provinces.

Plans are underway to have this an annual event and inviting employees from the World Financial Group across the country to come to Alberta and climb Mount William Booth in 2011.
